This is a paper application that residents of Alamo can fill out if they want to serve on one or more of the city’s volunteer boards and committees. The form asks for the applicant’s name, address, phone, email, and occupation, lets the person tick the specific board(s) they’re interested in (such as Planning & Zoning, Library, Parks & Recreation, etc.), and provides space to explain their motivation. After signing, the applicant learns that most positions require Alamo residency (with an exception for the Parks & Rec Board), that they will receive the board’s bylaws if appointed, and that the city keeps the completed applications for no longer than two years before disposing of them.
