This document is the audited financial report for the McAllen International Toll Bridge (also called the Hidalgo Bridge) covering the fiscal years that ended on September 30, 2015 and September 30, 2014. It includes the independent CPA’s audit opinion, a management discussion of traffic and money flow, and the official financial statements (statement of net position, statement of revenues‑expenses‑changes, cash‑flow statement and notes). The report shows that toll and rental revenues rose, operating expenses stayed almost the same, and the bridge’s overall net position grew to about $33.3 million, an increase of roughly $1.2 million over the prior year. Traffic volumes were essentially unchanged – about 2.82 million cars crossed southbound (down 0.4%) and 33,211 non‑commercial trucks and buses crossed (up 0.6%). The toll for a car was $3.25 per crossing.
