This is the City of McAllen’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year that ended on September 30, 2010. The report contains an introductory letter, a GFOA certificate, an organizational chart, the Independent Auditor’s Report, Management’s Discussion and Analysis, and the full set of financial statements – government‑wide statements, fund statements (governmental, proprietary and fiduciary), and many reconciliation schedules. It also includes a large statistical section with schedules on financial trends, tax revenue, debt capacity, demographics, and operating information, as well as detailed budget schedules for each of the city’s individual funds (e.g., General Fund, Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund, Water Fund, etc.).
